Some slight improvements required to improve welcome
Fantastic location and lift from car parking area, which is outside city walls. Pleasing building and decor.
Garmin satnav couldn’t locate car park and ideally there should be better directions or clearer signposting. Not the most enthusiastic receptionist and despite the building the welcome area felt a little inhospitable (rather nondescript bar could have had something to do with it).

My Family had the best time in Carcassonne! Please go you will love it especially with kids!
We stayed inside a walled city! It was awesome! The staff was excellent. We spoke only a tiny bit of French and they were very gracious switching to English. In the morning I wake up early and I ran into a staff member who helped me find a cup of coffee. They did not have to do that! Fantastic! My kids loved the hotel. The Garden area was just like the pictures. Beautiful
Ok - loved it but there were some small things just to be aware of. Parking is outside the castle - totally fine -infact the staff there was great - but I think there should have been a little clearer in the description were it was and how it operated. The Garden room we stayed in… it is a great hotel, the walk up view very impressive,the walk to the back thru the gardens was beautiful .. the outside of the rooms with the sitting area and big doors was tremendous… but the inside room was … just ok… it was solid… no problems but you are kind of expecting something fantastic with everything else and it is just fine. A little remodel/redecoration and it would be a 10/10. Hoping this is not critical just feedback. Loved our stay. Would stay again. I recommend this hotel strongly.
